The gold colour gave everything a dream-like effect
Just like a romanza the room felt light and fascinating. The rose gold drapes matched the shining floor with those intricate designs.
You could see a bold geometric pattern on the marble stones of the floor antagonising the painted sky and clouds, with angels, of the ceilings.
The people were elegantly dressed, just like those type of events required. They were spinning and twirling around the room in couples, and their gold faces were smiling at each other. The music was inebriating everyone with its sweet notes, and it would keep them dancing with the same passion a dedicated jeweller would craft an intricate bracelet.
There were feathers and shawls, gloves and canes, holding delicate chalices by their stems, talking about philosophies and wars, but still listening to the sound of music which was starting to soften. When the music stopped, the man holding the glass of champagne saw the bubbles dancing from the floor to the guests, up to the ceiling and dissolving into the air.
The gold colour gave everything a dream-like effect, and when he lowered the glass down, so to uncover all the different colours of the room and its guests, he remembered how boring those kind nights were, and just like that the spell ended.
